Smartchain Poker

Plain answers

FAQ

How do I start playing?

Play in your browser, or download the app. Cash games are played in USDC and USDT, and there are also Spin’n Go, Sit’n Go and multi-table tournaments. There is a rakeback program.

How do I know the deal is fair?

Smartchain Poker runs on licensed poker software that we have rebranded, rather than a card engine we wrote ourselves. The shuffle comes from that software’s random number generator.

The provider states that its RNG has been tested by iTech Labs, an independent testing house for gaming software. We are asking them for the certificate so we can publish it here with a date and a scope. Until we have it in hand, we would rather describe the situation than repeat a claim we cannot show you.

Who holds the tokens?

$PLAY launched in January 2023 with no team allocation, no presale and no private sale. The starting liquidity was put up by the team. There was no allocation set aside for insiders to sell into the market later.

Which chain is $PLAY on?

Solana. A launch on Robinhood’s chain is planned and will have its own separate supply. See the $PLAY page for current figures.

Are the burned tokens really gone?

Not destroyed, no — and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. The fee tokens go to a public address that the project still controls. Nothing has ever been withdrawn from it, and any withdrawal would be visible on chain immediately. The reasoning, and the address, are on the $PLAY page.

Can I still buy an SCP NFT?

Not from us. The collection sold out and the mint is closed — there is no new supply. A handful of the rarest NFTs earn rewards indefinitely; the rest reached a capped payout. If you buy one from another holder on a secondary market, check what that specific NFT still earns before you pay, because most of them have finished paying out.

What does this website know about me?

Nothing. No analytics, no cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party requests, no wallet connect. Our server records that a page was requested, as every web server does, and nothing is shared with anyone. The game client is a separate thing: it holds an account for you and necessarily knows more. We flag the boundary every time you cross it.

What if this stops being fun?

Poker is a game and it should stay one. If you are chasing losses, playing longer than you meant to, or staking money you need for something else, stop and take a break. Free, confidential help is available — in the US, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is reachable 24/7 by calling or texting 1-800-522-4700. Outside the US, look up your national gambling helpline.

You must be 18 or older to play, and poker is restricted or illegal in some places. It is your responsibility to know the rules where you are.
